Reference Checks & Offer Confirmation
On identification of a suitable candidate, a minimum of two appropriate reference checks are conducted on behalf of our client.  Should these prove satisfactory we will provide a confirmation to proceed to our client, who will produce a written offer of employment within 24 hours. Subject to joint approval, we will return the signed offer.

Package Confirmation
Once the selection procedure has concluded and a decision has been made, the package, benefits, and terms and conditions of employment are confirmed with the successful candidate within the parameters agreed with our client.

Start Date & Resignation Preparation
To ensure the most effective result is achieved, we will coach and support the successful candidate through the resignation process. This can include writing resignation letters, exit interview preparation and how to respond to a counter offer. Finally we will negotiate a mutually agreeable start date.

1 – 3 Month Follow Up
It is standard Macdonald Cordell policy to follow up with the client and candidate after one week, one month and three months from the date of commencement of employment. This is to ensure that both parties are happy and a smooth transition has been made.
